HN Excellence Secures Major Grant for the “Nexternalitics” Project
HN Excellence, in a joint venture with Openeconomics S.r.l. and the University of Calabria, was awarded a non-repayable grant pursuant to Decree No. 8895 of the Calabria Region dated June 19, 2025, partially amended by the subsequent Executive Decree No. 9138 dated June 24, 2025, CUP J89I24002980005, for a grant amount of € 480,607.65 for the “Nexternalitics” project.
The Nexternalitics project aims to develop an innovative economic model for forecasting and simulating the economic, social, and environmental impacts of an entrepreneurial initiative or public action.
The objective is to develop a methodology and a tool capable of assessing the impact down to the municipal level.
To achieve this, an economic model is being designed that integrates vast datasets from diverse sources—economic, climatic, digital, and social—enabling a comprehensive portrait of local dynamics while allowing for a thorough analysis of their evolution within the context of climate change and the ecological and digital transitions.
The project’s ambition is to enable local governments and/or private companies to make informed investment decisions.
